Kat Flynn's Guide to Getting Over a Crush

This is an e-book cover that I did for my mom's short story Kat Flynn's Guide to Getting Over a Crush. The scene is set in a vandalized school hallway with elements hinting at major story points. The tree painting shown here is an unfinished version of the one found in the story, while the bike rim obscured by the ladder is a piece of Kat's friend's sculpture titled Recycle. The plaster and brick walls as well as the tiled floor were all built from single repeating textures, while the other elements have been cobbled together from various free stock photo websites.
